Japanese Knotweed

Soils contaminated with Japanese Knotweed are required to be disposed of in specialist disposal facilities in order to comply with current waste disposal regulations.

At Heidelberg Materials Agecroft, we have access to these facilities and are licensed to carry this type of waste in our modern tipper trucks.

Importing fill material

If there is a requirement to import fill materials to your site, our experienced team can assist in locating and transporting a suitable source of material such as clays and sand.

Hazardous soils

Heidelberg Materials Agecroft is licensed to carry hazardous contaminated soils and have access to specialist disposal facilities. We can advise you on pre-disposal treatments which can be carried out to reduce certain types of contamination in soils. This can prove to be very cost effective when compared to disposal directly to hazardous landfill.

Waste documentation

Our experienced staff can handle the whole process on your behalf, including the provision of all required waste documentation. We’ll help to ensure that your waste soils are disposed of in full compliance with current waste regulations. For advice and support, please contact us.

How we process waste

We work hard to recycle up to 90% of waste received at the site.

We process hardcore waste to produce a range of quality recycled aggregates which conform to WRAP protocol and are used in construction and civil engineering projects.

Inert soils are processed and screened to extract stone and hardcore which is used to produce recycled aggregate. Commercial waste is pre-sorted, segregated, and recycled where possible.

Vehicle access

We accommodate both tipper and grab trucks at our waste disposal facility,  All vehicles are weighed on arrival and when leaving the site using our fully calibrated weighbridges.

Please note: You must be a licensed waste carrier to use any of our disposal facilities. To comply with the duty of care regulations, a suitable waste transfer note and soil test results (where applicable) must be provided prior to tipping.

No, as long as you bring the appropriate waste transfer documentation with you.

Is there any waste material that you don’t accept?

We only accept construction and demolition waste, not household waste or white goods.
