Our new £8 million state-of-the-art wash plant at Avonmouth is the largest of its kind in the UK, making it your go-to resource for transforming inert and non-hazardous C&D waste into high-quality, fully compliant recycled aggregates and sands.

Open days at Bristol-based B&A Group showcase new construction waste recycling wash plant

We are hosting two open days at our Bristol-based B&A Group to showcase our recycling operations, including our new wash plant, which is the largest in the UK.

The two sessions are being held at the B&A Group head office in Hallen and will include site tours, as well as the opportunity to see the new wash plant in action. Visitors will also be able to see product samples and find out more about the recycled sand and aggregate material the plant can produce, and how they contribute to the circular economy.

The first open day is being held on Wednesday 26 November (09.00-17.00) in conjunction with CDE, manufacturers of the new wash plant. The second is on Thursday 27 November (10.00-15.00). Recycling experts will be on hand to answer questions on both days and refreshments will be served.

Helen Griffin, B&A Group Managing Director, said: “Opening our doors is a great opportunity to showcase our new wash plant, which is capable of processing up to 400,000 tonnes of excavated waste (primarily soils) a year from construction, demolition and industrial sites.

“It is also a chance to highlight how the resulting products can help meet increasing demand for more sustainable construction products through the supply of high-quality recycled aggregates.”
