Sowing the SEED of health and wellbeing across our business
May is our health and wellbeing month, and we’ve launched our latest campaign to encourage everyone to Sleep, Eat, Exercise and Drink (SEED) better.
These four simple reminders can have a big impact on how we feel every day;
Sleep well: Get a good night’s sleep to improve your creativity and memory and make you more productive.
Eat well: Make sure you eat a healthy balanced diet and take any dietary and nutritional advice.
Exercise well: Get yourself active by taking part in sports and leisure activities but be careful not to overdo it.
Drink well: Drink plenty of water instead of sugary drinks and drink alcohol in moderation.
To help you put these tips into action, we’ve created a SEED pocket guide with useful help and advice on how you can prioritise your health and wellbeing.
Alongside our SEED campaign, we are proud to have over 250 dedicated mental health first aiders, trained by MFHA England, who are here to support our colleagues and create a culture of wellbeing at work.
We also offer a comprehensive employee assistance programme with Health Assured, which provides access to its Wisdom app to help you track health, boost mental wellness and build resilience, as well as a free, confidential 24-hour helpline.
