Family fun day success

Over 400 of our employees and their families from across the country took part in our family day, which was again held at Butts Park Arena, Coventry.

It was the second time we have organised the free event which included food as well as entertainment for the whole family.

Children enjoyed the bouncy castles, face painting, games and planting seeds that were then donated to nearby Tulip Academy school, while the highlight for many of the adults was the hotly contested football tournament.
“We were delighted with the number of people that came to enjoy the day,” said Trainee Supervisor LEAD Bradley Hunter, who organised the event with Graduate Trainee Managers Fin Innes and Katie Jedrek.

“Many congratulations to the team from Contracting Central, who won the 7-aside football tournament to claim the inaugural trophy – as well as bragging rights – against competition from 5 other teams.

“It was great to see everyone having such a great time and we were pleased to be able to donate all of the left-over food to a local homeless shelter.”
