About Purfleet works

Situated right next to the River Thames, Purfleet Works manufactures and supplies ggbs to the South East of England, the South Coast and East Anglia. It can produce 1 million tonnes of GGBS per year. 

The facilities at Purfleet include two closed circuit ball mills and a vertical roller mill. 

Capacity of the plant can easily cope with the requirements from the market area served and there is a more than sufficient amount of finished product storage to ensure that high peak demand can be met.
