What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own the payroll process: Calculate and process employee wages, including overtime, bonuses, and deductions—ensuring every payslip is spot on.
- Be the go-to expert: Respond to employee queries about tax codes, deductions, and payslips with clarity and care.
- Keep us compliant: Help ensure payroll aligns with HMRC regulations, pension contributions, and internal policies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with HR, Finance, and other teams to keep employee data accurate and up to date.
- Drive service excellence: Use our First Line Support model to deliver timely, helpful support to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Stay sharp: Maintain accurate records, meet SLAs, and support audits and reporting with confidence.
- Champion change: Embrace new systems, processes, and ideas that improve how we work.
What You Bring:
- Solid experience in payroll administration, ideally in a shared services or high-volume environment.
- A strong grasp of UK payroll legislation and HMRC reporting.
- A proactive mindset, great attention to detail, and a passion for getting things right the first time.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
