Overview
Northern Steel Decking used Heidelberg Materials’ low carbon concrete for the Buchanan Wharf project in Glasgow, where the Scottish Government sought a lower carbon construction option. When their client requested an alternative solution, Northern Steel Decking approached Heidelberg Materials, who recommended products from their low carbon concrete range.

Project description
One of our customers Northern Steel Decking used Heidelberg Materials' low carbon concrete as part of the Buchanan Wharf project in Glasgow in which the Scottish government wanted to explore opportunities for a low carbon solution.

Northern steel decking works in the construction industry as a manufacturer of metal decking and the supply and installation of metal flooring on to multi floor construction sites, steel framed buildings.
